joining resistance...

inclusive- resistance members come together because of basic agreement over politics & aims; so you'll find that our members & meetings are open to your input, friendly and inclusive.

knowledge- don't "wait until you know enough" before joining... the best way to find out about us is to join now & check it out on the ground. We actively encourage our members to read & think critically. The best way to do this is while being actively engaged in trying to make a difference.

activism- we are an active organisation, not just a talk fest. We want members to make the organisation their own & have a say in what we do. Members are active to the best of their ability and collectively define our course through branch meetings & our annual conference.

cost- it costs $5 or $3 for highschool members to join (includes Green Left getting mailed to you for a month, a copy of What Socialists Stand For & a Resistance badge). Active members pay dues of $5/$3 a month and have a weekly pledge depending on what they can afford.
